Rush Green Community Centre on Rush Green Road, Romford, has two halls to choose from. The centre recommends its Smaller Hall for children's parties. It holds 60 people, or 40 at tables, and it has no bar and no alcohol is allowed, which suits a family occasion well.
With a capacity of 200, or 100 at tables, plus a bar, the Main Hall is better suited to a bigger event or an evening celebration. You can use the kitchen's oven, electric hob and microwave. Furniture is provided, there is an accessible toilet, and about 20 cars can park on site.
The centre has not published its ceiling heights, so check before you book, especially for the smaller room. Compare what you are told with the figures here:
Taller items in our range, including adult castles and the disco dome, go up to 16ft. A toddler party could skip the height question altogether with Soft Play or Ball Pits.
You apply using a form at rushgreencommunity.org. No price list is published, though you will pay a £50 deposit and get it back if you leave the hall tidy. It is worth asking how much setup time you can have on the day when you apply.
When your hall is confirmed, book your castle for the same date. Enter RM7 0LB on any product page to check availability. We deliver, install and collect throughout Romford, and we plan around your hall times. For help choosing a castle, call 01708 918668.
