Thames Community Hub on Bastable Avenue in Barking is a community hall listed by Barking and Dagenham Council for private hire. It has long opening hours on most days, including evenings, so it could suit a party after school or a later family celebration at the weekend.
You can hire it from 5pm on weekdays, 1pm on Saturdays and 12pm on Sundays, finishing by 11pm each day. When last checked, the cost was £45 an hour, with £150 taken as a refundable deposit. Our setup and pack-down need to fit inside your hire period, so please allow for that when you decide how many hours to book.
The hall has not published its size or ceiling height, so ask for both when you call. You can then compare them with these figures:
For a higher ceiling, adult castles and the disco dome are options, at up to 16ft. For toddlers, our Soft Play sets and Ball Pits are low and compact.
A short call can save you a lot of trouble later. It is worth asking how wide the entrance is, whether there are low lights or beams and how close a van can park. Please also ask whether the hall needs to see insurance documents, which you can find on our Insurance Certificates and Risk Assessments page.
Book the hall by calling 020 3911 7259, then reserve your castle for the same date. The address is Bastable Avenue, Barking, IG11 0LG, which you can enter on any product page to check availability.
