Next to the church on Corbets Tey Road in Upminster, these parish halls offer a choice of room sizes. The largest is the Main Hall, at 60ft by 30ft (18.2m by 9.1m), with a capacity of 150. A big kitchen with a serving hatch makes it easy to feed a crowd of hungry party guests.
Choosing the Right Hall
Besides the Main Hall, there is a Minor Hall of 42ft by 17ft 9in, along with the smaller Derham and Hurford Halls. A larger castle or a mixed layout belongs in the Main Hall, while a small toddler party may be happy in the Minor Hall with Soft Play or Ball Pits.

The halls do not publish their ceiling heights, so please ask when you book. This table shows the height and floor space each castle needs:

Bookings and Parking
Parties for under-11s can be booked as one-off events. There is no published price list, so you will need to request a quote. Email halls.bookings@upminsterparish.co.uk, or ring the parish office on 01708 220 696.
Parking is free, but spaces are limited and go to whoever arrives first. The building also has baby changing in its accessible toilet. You may want to warn guests about parking, particularly for a Saturday party.
