The Loughton Club on Station Road has a main hall of 51ft by 40ft with a ceiling height of 11.49ft, and it holds up to 150 guests. In Loughton, that makes it a good size for a private celebration where children and adults are both on the guest list.
A Hall With Two Personalities
During the day, the main hall hosts community activities such as Zumba, karate and toddler groups. In the evening it becomes more of an entertainment venue, with surround sound, a large screen, a stage and a refurbished bar. The wooden floor is ideal for dancing, which suits a party with live music or a DJ.
What Fits Under an 11.49ft Ceiling?
The hall has plenty of floor space, but the ceiling is the figure to check. Many of our Bouncy Castles are lower than this, so you have a good choice. Taller items will not fit, including anything that needs 12ft or more, so please look at the height on each product page first.
Soft Play and Ball Pits are not limited by the ceiling at all. They make a good addition if you have toddlers coming to a family party, and you can place them away from the bar and stage.
Planning Your Party at the Club
Leave clear room for the blower and safety mats around any inflatable, and allow time for setup before your guests arrive. If you plan to use the stage or dance floor as well, sketch the layout early so that each area has its own space.
