Somewhere between a quick training exercise and the full 110ft campaign sits our Army Boot Camp Assault Course 3 Part - 85ft. Three connected inflatable sections create approximately 85ft of camouflage-covered climbing, crawling, bouncing, weaving and sliding for children to work their way through.

It's the middle member of the Army Boot Camp line-up, although there is nothing particularly middle-of-the-road about an inflatable that's roughly 85ft long.

Inside, children encounter a mixture of tunnels, biff bash posts, climbing walls, slides, bouncing sections and other obstacles. Rather than spending their turn in one open bouncing area, they have an entire route ahead of them.

Three Sections Means the Mission Keeps Changing

The fun of a long assault course comes from not knowing quite what is around the next inflatable corner. One section might have children ducking and weaving through obstacles, while another changes the pace with climbing or sliding.

Connecting three sections together creates enough length for the different activities to be spread along the course. Children can keep progressing towards the finish rather than repeatedly using one feature in the same area.

Then, of course, somebody reaches the end and immediately decides they need another go. Apparently one tour of duty is rarely sufficient.

Camouflage That Isn't Trying Very Hard to Hide

Brown, green and black camouflage gives the course its distinctive Army Boot Camp identity. It's a theme that works naturally for children's boot camp parties and activity events, but the inflatable doesn't require a military-themed occasion to make sense.

At approximately 85ft long, it has enough physical presence to stand out on a school field or larger event site. This may technically be camouflage, but hiding an 85ft inflatable was always going to be ambitious.

If you're planning a themed birthday, you can make the assault course the central activity and add other equipment around it. Alternatively, browse our Obstacle Courses when the activity itself matters more than matching a particular theme.

From First Recruit to Final Slide

The course can be enjoyed without turning the day into an organised competition. Children can simply enter, tackle the obstacles in sequence and make their way towards the other end during supervised play.

For organisers who want to make more of the Army Boot Camp idea, its layout also lends itself to structured, age-appropriate activities. The tunnels, biff bash posts, climbing sections and slides provide ready-made stages along the route.

You can then introduce completely different activities elsewhere at the event. Inflatable Axe Throwing hire adds target throwing to the programme, while the Inflatable 3 in 1 Sports Game gives you another interactive inflatable without simply repeating the assault-course format.

The Goldilocks of Army Assault Courses?

There are occasions when approximately 55ft isn't quite enough Army Boot Camp, but approximately 110ft might be more inflatable than your plans require.

That's where this three-part, approximately 85ft configuration comes into its own.

It sits between the shorter two-part Army Boot Camp and the enormous four-part version, giving organisers another option when matching the attraction to the size and scale of the event.

Our wider range also includes completely different designs. The Red & Blue Assault Course (75ft Three Parts) provides another three-part option, while the Red & Blue Assault Course (100ft Four Parts) moves into four-part territory.

Make It the Backbone of a Fun Day

An 85ft obstacle course can do considerably more than fill a corner of a field. At school fun days, fêtes, club events and community days, it can become one of the principal inflatable attractions around which the rest of the activities are arranged.

You might place Slides elsewhere on the site for children wanting a different inflatable experience, create another activity point using Inflatable Games, or introduce Giant Garden Games away from the main inflatable area.

For larger bookings, our Inflatable Events selection provides further options for turning an empty field or suitable event space into a much broader day of activities.

85ft Is a Measurement Worth Measuring For

Please don't estimate this one using garden-fence panels, footsteps or the traditional "yeah, that'll probably fit".

The Army Boot Camp is approximately 85ft long and consists of three connected inflatable sections, so organisers need to make sure there is sufficient suitable setup space available. The required area also needs to account for the inflatable being installed and operated correctly rather than simply matching its approximate physical length.

This is especially important when several attractions are being booked for the same event. Planning the complete site before choosing your equipment will help determine how much inflatable firepower the available space can realistically handle.
