There are plenty of ways to add Christmas cheer to an event, but sometimes you need to call in a little elf-help.
Our Hire an Elf option gives you an elf costume ready for festive appearances, Christmas parties and seasonal events. It is a simple way to put someone firmly on elf duty, whether they are helping Santa, posing for photographs or generally getting up to a bit of North Pole nonsense.
No performer is included, so who gets promoted to Santa's little helper is entirely up to you. Pick your most elf-confident volunteer, colleague, family member or member of staff, hand over the costume and let them get cracking. Or should that be Christmas cracking?
Put Your Event on the Elf-icial Christmas Calendar
An elf can slot into all sorts of festive plans. Use the costume for a children's Christmas party, school event, office celebration, Christmas fair or a larger seasonal event where you want a recognisable Christmas character wandering around.
It also works brilliantly alongside a Santa appearance. Pair your elf with Hire a Santa and suddenly Father Christmas has some much-needed assistance. After all, the man has a fairly demanding delivery schedule.
For a bigger North Pole setup, you could build the scene around our Santa's Grotto, go larger with the Large Inflatable Santa's Grotto, or give Santa's transport department an upgrade with the Mega Sleigh.
Elf Employment Opportunities
Once somebody has been appointed Chief Elf for the day, there are plenty of jobs available. They could help with photographs, hand out Christmas treats, supervise festive games, collect letters for Santa, help with crafts or join in with Christmas storytelling.
You could even run your own elf training session. Naturally, we cannot guarantee that anybody completing the course will receive an official position at the North Pole. Recruitment standards up there are notoriously Claus-trophobic.
The costume can work particularly well when you already have your own Christmas activity planned and simply need the character element to bring it together. It gives schools, businesses, families and event organisers the freedom to decide exactly how their elf fits into the occasion.
Make More Room Under the Christmas Tree
Why stop at one elf-shaped idea? Our Christmas hire range can help turn a standalone appearance into a much bigger festive setup.
The Gold Grotto Package and Silver Grotto Package provide options for organisers planning a more substantial Christmas attraction, while Christmas Party Hire is a useful place to browse more seasonal equipment.
You can also mix Christmas character hire with some of our year-round favourites. Add Inflatable Games for activity-led events, Soft Play for younger children or Giant Garden Games when you want several different things happening during the event.
From Elf Service to Self Service
Remember, this is costume hire rather than a staffed elf appearance. We supply the elf costume and you provide the person inside it. That makes it a flexible choice when you already have staff, entertainers, teachers, parents or willing volunteers involved in your Christmas plans.
It can be used as the main character attraction or as part of a wider festive scene. One minute your elf might be helping with photographs, the next they could be checking the nice list, collecting Christmas letters or reporting directly back to the big boss in red.
Christmas Character Hire Around Essex
Our festive hire service is available for events in and around Brentwood, with Christmas bookings also coming from nearby areas including Shenfield, Billericay, Romford, Hornchurch, Upminster, Chelmsford and elsewhere in Essex.
Hire an Elf for a school Christmas event, children's party, Christmas fair, workplace celebration or festive family event and give somebody the chance to spend the day earning their elf and safety credentials.
Just remember: costume supplied, elf operator required. Pointy ears alone do not constitute adequate North Pole training.
